Position Summary

EyeSouth Partners (the “Company”) is based in Atlanta, GA with rapidly expanding operations in the southern and midwestern US. EyeSouth is a fast-paced and entrepreneurial eye care management service organization that is experiencing tremendous growth due to favorable organic growth trends and an impressive track-record of successful affiliations (“M&A”). The Manager, Finance will work with the Vice President, Finance, the Chief Financial Officer, and other Accounting & Finance team members on financial planning and analysis (“FP&A”), operational analysis, budgeting, and corporate finance engagements.

 

Responsibilities

  • Become the subject matter expert on EyeSouth’s financial reporting model and operational dashboards. Prepare Monthly Operating Review (“MOR”) for board, executive, regional operations, and local business audiences.
  • Conduct monthly reviews with Regional Directors and Presidents, covering financial results, execution on strategic initiatives, and operational metrics.
  • Support bank reporting packages, including three-statement GAAP financial statements, lender-approved adjusted EBITDA bridges, and debt covenant ratios.
  • Assist with the annual budget process, including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow modeling, maintaining a close understanding of the business risks and opportunities.
  • Work with senior executives in preparing board presentation materials and external reporting.
  • Draft management discussion and analysis (“MD&A”) of monthly and quarterly results for third-party key stakeholders.
  • Provide analytics support for senior leadership and ad hoc reporting development.
  • Assist with all financial organizational management and preparation for quality of earnings, equity and debt recapitalizations and other strategic financial projects.
  • Provide insight and support for the strategic initiatives of the Company that will lead to increased growth, profitability, and long-term value creation.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Background in investment banking, valuation, transaction advisory services, equity research, or corporate finance in similar high-growth industries.
    • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
    • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Economics.
    • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Demonstrates ownership over key tasks, becoming the subject matter expert for stakeholders.
    • Practical experience financial modeling including the ability to build three-statement financial models, valuation analyses, and financial statement projections from scratch.
    • Ability to master new tasks quickly with limited oversight.
    • Develop ad-hoc financial and operational data and KPI analyses as requested.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment.
    • Ability to efficiently and effectively share complex financial and operational data to key stakeholders throughout the organization, using PowerPoint, verbal, and written communications.
    • Must have strong EQ, ability to perceive, manage, understand, and reason with newly acquired entities, physicians, practice administrators and employees to build immediate credibility and produce results.
    • Team player that develops strong collaborative working relationships with internal partners and can effectively engage and ability to build consensus among cross-functional teams.

 

  • Preferred:
    • Working knowledge of Sage-Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
