Georgia Eye Partners is a specialty eye care practice in Metro Atlanta comprised of ophthalmologist and optometrists dedicated to providing patients with the highest quality medical and surgical eye care. Our services range from general eye care to complex surgical care for conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, corneal disease, and refractice. We offer LASIK and other refractive surgery options as well as oculoplastic surgery and laser aethetic procedures through OPAL Aesthetics.

Position Summary

Responsible for all day-to-day activities in a specified location of Georgia Eye Partners including but not limited to staffing, clinic flow, patient relations, inventory, and equipment maintenance.  Acts as a liaison for office staff with managers and senior leadership.   

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Oversee location specific clean operations including supply chain management/inventory, equipment maintenance, vendor relations, clinic staffing, patient relations, clinic flow and scheduling templates.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Direct supervision of technicians including time and attendance, productivity, and training needs
  • Respond to all patient relations inquiries and submit complaint resolutions.
  • Participate in process improvement projects as assigned to improve efficiency and effectiveness of clinic and patient care process.
  • Participate in annual performance review process for all location-based staff.
  • Work cooperatively with the hiring team to maintain appropriate staffing.
  • Maintain communication with the training team regarding any technicians in a training process.
  • Complete daily MESS huddle as well as conduct bi-weekly team meetings to discuss clinic updates and announcements.
  • At least 70% clinical work per week.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years clinical experience in ophthalmology
  • Knowledgeable in ophthalmic skills, concepts, and have basic overview of ophthalmic diseases
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight or manager presence
  • Competent computer skills (word, excel, various EMR systems)
