Position Summary

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be the go-to strategic advisor for key members of leadership in the region you support. You’ll need to be business-focused, leveraging your deep HR knowledge and experience to shape and execute HR strategies that align with organization goals. You’ll own key HR initiatives, work closely with leadership to drive results, and ensure that our HR strategies support our rapid growth. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and influential, with the proven ability to deliver value-added services that support the business objectives of our affiliate practices, market and region.

 

This is a full-time remote role and can be based in Florida or South GA. 

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, providing insights and solutions that drive results and employee growth.
  • Leadership Coaching & Empowerment: Offer candid, experienced advice to leaders, helping them navigate challenges, build high-performing teams, and foster a culture of accountability and growth. Empower managers and leaders with coaching and support, enabling them to lead their teams with confidence and effectiveness.
  • Change Management: Support large-scale change initiatives, ensuring that our people and processes evolve to meet the needs of our rapidly scaling organization.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and develop proactive strategies to address potential challenges.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor in managing employee relations issues, ensuring that solutions are fair, consistent, and aligned with our operating principles.
  • Performance Management: Drive a culture of high performance by implementing effective performance management processes and ensuring leaders have the tools and support they need to build and lead highly performing teams.
  • Organizational Planning: Forecast workforce needs and develop plans to meet those needs, focusing on talent acquisition, retention, and development.
  • Integrated HR Solutions:  Proactively partner with key functions (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Onboarding, Training & Development, etc.) to deliver cohesive and integrated solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business/Human Resources preferred or the equivalent years related experience required.
  • 3+ years of HR Leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Multi-state/site HR experience required.
  • HR Designation/Certification from SHRM or HRCI required; or have ability to sit for the exam within first 6 months.
  • Ability to travel overnight as required for designated region (plane/car).
  • Medical/Ophthalmology experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of HR Generalist duties.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
  • Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team and drive performance improvement, demonstrated by progressive increases in management responsibility.
  • Team player that develops strong collaborative working relationships with internal partners and can effectively engage and ability to build consensus among cross-functional teams.
