Position Summary

We are actively recruiting a curious, highly analytical, and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Data Analyst who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and helping teams make smarter decisions to join our growing team at EyeSouth Partners. In this role, you’ll use your SQL and Business Intelligence applications, such as Power BI/Strategy/Business Objects/Cognos, expertise to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategy and improve day-to-day operations. You’ll collaborate closely with business partners to ensure they have the information they need to move projects forward with confidence.

 

The ideal candidate will design, develop, validate, and maintain data solutions that support business decision-making and operational efficiency. This role requires a proactive thinker who can translate raw data into actionable insights and effectively communicate findings across teams.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports in various Business Intelligence tools to visualize business performance and trends.
  • Maintain and provide support for all existing Microsoft Azure Data Pipelines and processes.
  • Support all existing operational and administrative processes.
  • Support Strategy BI Platform administration and operational processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for business growth and operational improvement.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data through validation and quality checks.
  • Work with relational databases and data warehouses.
  • Support data governance initiatives, documentation, and process improvements.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business questions as they arise.

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong SQL skills with proven experience writing and optimizing queries for large and complex datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools) for building dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience working with relational databases and data warehouses.
  • Strong communication skills—you can explain data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills

 

  • Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline tools.
  • Knowledge and experience of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Background in healthcare business analysis or domain-specific analytics.
